Opentrons Robotics

Lab automation has never been easier

Opentrons makes robots for biologists. The company’s mission is to provide the scientific community with a common platform to easily share protocols and reproduce each other's results. The robots automate experiments that would otherwise be done by hand, allowing the scientific community to spend more time pursuing answers to some of the 21st century’s most important questions.

The OT-2, Opentrons’ flagship product, is a benchtop liquid handler designed to be affordable and flexible enough to automate many common applications such as NGS library prep, PCR, and nucleic acid isolation and purification.

IDT has partnered with Opentrons to provide IDT customers access to automation protocols and scripts for use on their Opentrons liquid handling instruments. Featured below are some of the existing protocols that have already been developed. Request access today!
